"Bluegrass World" review on "Quicksand"

On this. his first solo album, Mike is complimented on this album by an awesome lineup of instrumental and vocal talent including: Dennis Caplinger, Walden Dahl, John Moore, Dean Knight, David Richardson, Kenny Blackwell and Bob Applebaum. The warm, clear lead singing, tight harmony and tasteful instrumentation makes for a very enjoyable listening of pure Bluegrass, Selections ranging from old Lester Flatt numbers to the more progressive style of Chris Jones.
