"The H.A.B.O.T. Bluegrass Magazine" review on "Quicksand"
Reprinted from the Habot Bluegrass Web Site 1998 "Quicksand" In reviewing this CD over and over, I keep finding new points to totally capture my musical interests. The simplistic and clear lead vocals of Mike Nadolson are perfect for this album. In 23 years I have listened to volumes of Bluegrass music, and I must say there are very few Bluegrass CDs which draw me back over and over like this one. In each song, the classically beautiful harmonies provide the perfect segue into virtually flawless and innovative instrumentation. If you do not add this CD to your collection, you are missing one of the BEST to come along in a long, long time.. I can not wait to hear more from these guys.
