"Little King of Dreams"

By: Dennis Roger Reed

Years in the making, with a cast of thousands, finally released.  "Little King of Dreams" is 15 originals by Dennis Roger Reed, noted singer and songwriter in an acoustic folk rock mode. The cream of the crop of Orange County folk and bluegrass musicians (the Andy Rau Band, Paul Shelasky, Janet Beazley, Don Reed and many more) help make this a very special project.

Reed spent five years and recorded two albums as the bass player, songwriter and high harmony vocalist for the Andy Rau Band. He's had songs published and recorded in the Nashville, bluegrass and blues markets, and also currently performs and records as a member of the roots/rock/blues band Blue Mama.

"Little King of Dreams" is an acoustic production that features elements of country, folk, bluegrass, swing, rock and blues.

What folks are saying about Little King of Dreams.... . .

" Singer-songwriter Dennis Roger Reed has a scratchy but tuneful tone that can recall folk-rocker Peter Case's more subdued moods, or parallel the broken, reedy sound of Jerry Garcia. The best songs offer lovely melodies and uncommonly intimate expressions of hurt." ~ Mike Boehm, Los Angeles Times.

"Dennis Roger Reed writes mature, intelligent folk songs and is quite skilled in their performance." ~ Jim Morman, Dirty Linen.

"Dennis Reed is a singer with an ironic delivery that is occasionally reminiscent of the late Steve Goodman."  ~ Jon Hartley Fox, Bluegrass Unlimited.

" Dennis Roger Reed" has an earthy quality to his voice that helps "Rain on the Rails" blend into the bluegrass format .~.LR, Bluegrass Now.
